Lycian Way Hiking Tour Around Kas

Upon arrival at Dalaman Airport, we will meet you and transfer to Kaş. If you arrive a day early, we can also pick you up from Fethiye. After check-in at our hotel, we begin our adventure with a transfer to Phellos, an ancient Lycian city. We explore its ruins before hiking down through Çukurbağ Village. The trail offers stunning views of Kaş from above before we descend into the town. We finish our day with a relaxing evening in Kaş.

Today, we hike to Delikkemer, an impressive Roman aqueduct built over 2,000 years ago. After a short break for photos, we continue along the ancient path through pine forests, stopping for lunch under the shade of the trees. We then reach Patara, one of the most significant cities of ancient Lycia and the birthplace of Saint Nicholas (Santa Claus). After exploring the ruins, we return to Kaş for the evening.

Today, we start with a short transfer to the Aperlai hiking trail. We walk through beautiful forest paths before reaching Aperlai Bay, where we can see ancient ruins. From here, we board a boat for a tour of Kekova, a stunning region with sunken ruins from the Lycian era. We stop for a swimming break at Shipyard Bay before sailing past the submerged ruins of the ancient city. We also visit Simena Castle Village, a charming seaside town accessible only by boat. Finally, we reach Üçağız Village and transfer back to Kaş.

Today, we hike along the most scenic coastal section of the Lycian Way! We start from Ufakdere and follow the trail with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean and Meis Island. We arrive at Limanağzı, a beautiful bay with ancient rock tombs, where we enjoy a delicious lunch by the sea. Instead of hiking back, we take a relaxing boat ride to Kaş. Today’s hike is one of the most challenging but also the most rewarding! We start from Hacıoğlan Village, hiking through canyons and forests. The trail gradually ascends to 1,300 meters, offering spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. We reach Phellos, an ancient Lycian settlement, and take time to explore its ruins. Along the way, we’ll see rare endemic trees and wildlife. We enjoy a picnic lunch in nature before returning to Kaş. "Trekking time: 7 hours"

Today, we explore Xanthos, the first capital of ancient Lycia. Our hike starts in Çavdır Village, following a historic aqueduct that once supplied water to Xanthos. As we walk through Üzümlü and Çayköy, we witness traditional village life and enjoy stunning plateau views. We finish the hike at Xanthos Ancient City, where we explore its impressive ruins before returning to Kaş. "Trekking time: 5 hours"
